Imagen
I've been to a lot of concerts in my whole life, and I have a lot of memories about good concerts, so it is hard for me to choose only one. The first one was Shakira when I was 5 years old at the Pista Atlética of Estadio Nacional . I was such a big fan of her and her purple hair and my dad took me and held me in his shoulders all night. After that, when I was a teenager, I went to a lot of rock festivals called Maquinaria at Club Hípico, where I had the chance to see my favourite bands at the time: Pixies, Sonic Youth, Yo la Tengo, even Faith No More, I had such a great time with friends an a whole day watching bands. Recently, this year with my family we went to Gorillaz at the Movistar Arena, we are big fans and we listen to them in all road trips and sing together all the songs, it was a very fun family activity! post 1: A country i would like to visit

I've always been attracted to traveling. The idea of visiting unknown places, learn new things, meet people and be alone by myself contemplating wonderful landscapes. I prefer lonely places, where nobody bothers, places where tourist don't go. Being an archaeologist has opened me the opportunity to visit those forgotten places where people used to live, so for me,  traveling is a way to learn about these people, the things they did in the past and find the stuff they manufactured is always thrilling. Another place I would like to know in depth is Mexico. I've been there before but it is such a big country that you need more than one life to visit the whole country. I want to go there to study, but th

Welcome!

Hi, my name is Manuela, but people call me manu. I'm finishing the career of archaeology, and this is my last class of English at university. I went to an English school all my life, I even went to England to study English for a while in a small town called Salisbury. Also, I spent my hole career reading in English so I feel comfortable with the language. Even though, the lack of training is something that makes me feel insecure sometimes, specially when writing, and it takes me a few minutes to get used to speaking with others in English because it is not my mother tongue. I hope that this class makes me feel better when writing and also with grammar, so it can be easy for me to express myself in English.
